British Airways business class is effectively two different products sold under the same name.
The newer Club Suite is a modern business-class experience with a sliding door, direct aisle access, and a fully flat bed. The older Club World cabin uses a 2-3-2 layout where some passengers still need to climb over others to reach the aisle. Both products cost the same in cash and Avios, making it important to know which one you're booking.

Club Suite is a major improvement over the older cabin. The seat converts into a fully flat bed measuring approximately 198cm and includes multiple storage compartments, USB ports, charging points, and a power outlet. Couples may prefer the centre seats, while solo travellers generally benefit from the window seats.
Legacy Club World feels noticeably older. The 2-3-2 layout means some passengers need to step over neighbouring passengers to access the aisle, and privacy is limited compared with modern business-class standards. The bed is shorter, the screen is smaller, and the overall experience falls behind many competing airlines.

Club Suite paid with cash: Good value when fares are competitive, particularly on transatlantic routes.
Legacy Club World with Avios: Acceptable, especially if using a Companion Voucher.

Club Europe: Worth paying for the airport benefits, baggage allowance, and lounge access rather than the seat itself.
All Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, all Boeing 787-10 aircraft, most Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, and many retrofitted Boeing 777-200ER aircraft feature Club Suite. Check the seat map before booking: a 1-2-1 layout indicates Club Suite, while a 2-3-2 layout indicates Legacy Club World.
Off-peak business-class redemptions start at around 50,000 Avios plus taxes and fees each way on routes to the US East Coast, while longer routes to Asia and Southern Africa generally require 75,000 to 90,000 Avios each way.
